Professor receives funding to bring choreographer to campus

Ruth Barnes, associate professor of dance, received a $1,440 grant to support the residency of Stacey West, executive artistic director for the Modern American Dance Company in St. Louis. Students had the opportunity to take master classes and learn repertory from the choreographer.

Financial assistance for this project has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
